Continuing with the proud praxis of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, all the faculty members, PhD scholars, senior students and newcomers mingled together on 9th August 2017 at the conference hall to make an auspicious welcome of the sixty newly admitted students in the course of DARD, ARTD, MARD and PhD scholars. The freshers welcome ceremony was inaugurated by Swami Bhaveshananda, Administrative Head of RKMVU, Ranchi faculty with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp along with uttering Shanti Mantra. After that, Dr. Arunava Sengupta, Head of the Department of ARTD, Ranchi delivered a welcome note to the all newcomers students. The new comer students were made welcome through the Chandana Tilak and a token of love. A small interaction season was arranged with the new students to get known about their background. The whole event was organized by presenting songs, inspirational lecture series and presentation of historical background of the faculty. In the extempore season, the new students the freshers got an opportunity not only to demonstrate their talents and but also to interact with the seniors. At the end of the very enjoyable competition one boy and one girl was selected as Mister and Miss freshers according to their performances. Finally the program ended with Shanti Mantra and leaving behind sweet memories that will be cherished lifelong.
