Applications are invited from candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to PhD in Agricultural Economics for the academic-session 2024-25.
Eligibility to Apply
- M Sc. in Agricultural Economics / Economics with minimum 55% marks or equivalent,
- Successful clearance of Research Eligibility Test (RET) to be conducted by RKMVERI. Candidates with MPhil / NET / GATE / SLET / SET or equivalent will be exempted from the RET.

Scholarship
Candidates without UGC / CSIR / ICAR fellowship, if found academically bright and motivated for research, may be considered for scholarship of Rs. 15,000/- per month

How to Apply
- New applicants have to first register (https://isr.rkmvu.ac.in/admission/register) on the Online Admission Portal, then login and fill up the online application form.
- Online Admission Portal : https://isr.rkmvu.ac.in/admission
- After successfully submitting the application form, pay the application fee (INR 1000.00) online from the same Portal. Link can be found under ‘Options’ next to the program name on the Dashboard.
- While filling up the online application-form attach the scanned copies of your passport size photo, mark-sheets and other applicable certificates/documents.
- Once Application-form is successfully submitted and application-fee is paid, Receipt (also Application-summary) will be available for download from the same Portal from the ‘Dashboard‘.
- Download the filled form and send the same along with self-attested certificates and mark sheets to the “Administrative Head, ARTD Faculty Centre, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Morabadi, Ranchi – 834008″.
- Admit Card: will be available for download when the dates for Admission Test / Interview are announced. Check the Website / Admission Portal regularly for updates.
Admission and Course Fees
Admission process shall begin immediately after the announcement of results. The selected candidates willing to take admission may get admitted by paying the requisite fees and submitting the requisite documents.
