Online applications (available at the University website) are invited for admission to Ph.D. programme in different areas of research for the Academic year 2019-20. A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs.700/-+transaction charges have to paid online using debit card/credit card/net banking/wallet etc.
Eligibility: Master’s Degree in relevant subject (with minimum 55% marks or equivalent for General and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) / Physically Handicapped candidates) and successful clearance of Research Eligibility Test (RET) to be conducted by the University. Candidates with M. Phil. / NET / GATE / SLET / SET or equivalent will be exempted from Research Eligibility Test (RET). Number of seats available for each discipline is given below,

The admission / selection process will consist of the following steps:
- Submission of Application (Online only)
- Scrutiny of application forms
- Research Eligibility Test (if applicable)
- Interview
Last date of submission of application: 30 December, 2019
Fellowship: Candidates with JRF from UGC/CSIR/ICAR or any other Government agency will receive the fellowships through our university, those without such fellowship will be granted Rs. 15000/- per month as per the state govt. (Jharkhand) rules.
